Healthy Life Basic Scheme "HLB Scheme"

The "HLB Scheme" encourages staff to maintain a work-life balance while they strive to deliver the best they can at work.  Our mission is to develop a harmonious environment for the staff to enjoy a happy, healthy working life with HLB.  The firm also sets up a volunteer team to participate in various social services and outdoor volunteer activities.  In recognition of our firm's support and contribution to the community in Hong Kong, HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng has been awarded "The Caring Company Award".  

Staff Development Programme

The "Staff Development Programme" aims to ensure our staff receive the professional knowledge, skills and abilities that are essential for them to perform their duties at the required professional standard. The programme also helps staff members achieve personal goals in their career development.  Staff trained under the programme adapt well to the challenges brought about by the rapid changes and development in the audit & accountancy profession.

For new joining staff members, the orientation programme provides a good opportunity to introduce them the valuable and important information of our firm including but not limited to our mission, value, policies and code of conduct. To enable staff at all levels perform their duties required at high professional standard, on-the-job training and regular structured trainings are provided. E-learnings are available though our firm's intranet where self-learning programme is provided to staff members regarding up-to-date information and guidance which is downloadable through our internal web pages. Of course, we also encourage staff to sit for professional examinations, and allow reasonable time-off for study.  Our firm is the Authorised Employer (AE) under the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants' (HKICPA) Qualification Programme (QP).
