Mr. Au has extensive experience in corporate audits of listed companies and medium to large owner-managed businesses. He also specialises in statutory audits of regulatory and financial service companies, including licensed corporations registered under Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and financial institutions registered under Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).

Mr. Au is a member of the Regulatory and Financial Industries Group (RFI) of the Firm and member of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute. He is familiar with procedures for performing special reporting to various regulatory bodies, including SFC, The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (HKEx), and HKMA.

His experience in handling companies listed on the HKEx includes acting as reporting accountants of Major Transactions and Very Substantial Acquisitions, initial public offerings (IPO) assignments on both the Main Board and GEM and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Au has also considerable experience in special assignments in the areas of management consulting, corporate restructuring and review of internal control systems.

Mr. Au served as a Member of the Branding and Communication Advisory Panel (2021) and a Member of the Long Working Hours Steering Group (2021) of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
