The conference brings insights of the latest global business trends to the audience and fosters exchanges and co-operations among accounting practitioners from the Cross-straits, Hong Kong and Macau. Speakers also provided valuable insights into the future direction of the accounting industry development.

The 6th Greater Bay Area Conference by Institute of Accountants Exchange was successfully held on 3 Aug 2024 at the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Jockey Club Building. HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng Limited is honored to be the Supporting Organisation of this conference for nurturing future business talents in the Greater Bay Area. This conference aims to bring talents and experts together to discuss the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao’s business and economy, innovation and technology, environmental, social and governance in the science and technology field, business strategy planning, and how it will strengthen the cultivation of local talents and youth development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. As well as actively connect with the impact of relevant policies, laws and regulations of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and explore the potential within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Prof. Raymond Cheng was the Founding Council Member and the President of the Institute of Accountants Exchange for 2014 and has continuously serves as the support for the Institute since 2005 to promote the development of the young accounting profession.

The Institute of Accountants Exchange aims to provide a platform for Hong Kong young accountants to share their knowledge and experience effectively, and to strengthen the communication between the young accountants in Hong Kong and the Mainland.

The inauguration ceremony of the 5th Council of The Anhui Fraternity Association (Hong Kong), the 1st Council of Hong Kong Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of Anhui Association and the 1st Council of the Hong Kong Hefei Association was held on the evening of 20 April 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center.

Hon. Eric Chan Kwok Ki, GBS, IDSM, JP, the Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and 王松苗秘書長 from the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R. as the guest of honor.
